Assistant Store Manager - Westfield London

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and commercially driven Assistant Store Manager to join the leadership team of a new premium retail store opening at Westfield London.

In this role, you'll support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving commercial performance and operational standards. You'll lead, coach and inspire a team of passionate retail professionals, ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation and in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Operations
  • Support the Store Manager in delivering commercial objectives, KPIs and retail strategy.
  • Monitor daily sales and contribute to action plans to optimise performance.
  • Oversee store operations including opening, closing, cash handling, compliance and stock management.
  • Ensure operational excellence in back-of-house processes including deliveries, stock control and loss prevention.
Customer Experience
  • Lead by example on the shopfloor, providing expert, personalised advice to customers.
  • Support the team in delivering a warm, educational and engaging in-store experience.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights, sharing them with management to help enhance the customer journey.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and stock presentation at all times.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Motivate and coach the store team to deliver exceptional service and meet sales targets.
  • Provide regular, constructive feedback to drive individual and team performance.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and values-led store culture.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager or Keyholder within a premium beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or high-footfall retail environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a positive, motivational approach.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to drive sales and contribute to KPI achievement.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering memorable retail experiences.
  • Highly organised, reliable, and proactive with solid operational and stock management experience.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, hands‑on mindset.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends and evenings.
