Assistant Store Manager – Jewellery & Watches

An established jewellery & watch retailer in Salisbury, Wiltshire are working with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a new Assistant Store Manager on a permanent basis. The store and business are able to boast a great history & heritage, combined with exceptional levels of customer service.

The role will report directly into the store manager and be amongst 8 others in the team. For this position, day to day duties will include:

  • Aiding the store manager in running the store, team management and many other aspects
  • Directing & contributing to personal and team sales targets
  • Team management & motivation
  • Providing learning & development to other team members
  • Living & breathing the company vision & values
  • Ensuring store visual standards are kept to the highest standards
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • KPI monitoring and implementation
  • Reporting
  • Plus many others

For this position, the client would like to see CV’s with many of the below aspects on show:

  • A strong retail background as an assistant store manager or able to demonstrate being ready to step into this position moving forward
  • A preferable retail background working within a luxury or premium environment, such as Jewellery, Watches & high cost brands
  • A consultative retail background
  • Experienced in 1-2-1 retail selling
  • A demonstrable background in mentoring / managing a team
  • Someone sales driven however with the ability to combine this with outstanding service level skills
  • Excels in multi tasking
  • Someone happy to commit to weekend retail working where required
