A leading supermarket chain in the UK is seeking a motivated individual to support the Store Manager in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include managing deliveries, team performance, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be an experienced people-manager skilled in boosting operational efficiency and capable of stepping into the Store Manager's shoes when needed. Various contract options are available, with salaries pro-rated based on hours worked.
This is about helping to run a £multi-million store, while motivating and developing a diverse and talented team.
One day could find you supporting the Store Manager with sorting out deliveries, placing orders or dealing with customer queries. The next, you might be focused on people management and performance or organising holiday rotas for the team. At the same time, you\'ll help to handle the over-riding goals of maximiseing sales in your store, ensuring great customer service, minimising costs and optimising operational efficiency. It means you\'ll be more than prepared to step into the Store Manager\'s shoes in their absence.
Please note, the salary displayed is based on a 45 hours per week contract. Aldi are also able to offer 32, 36 and 40 hour contracts, and in these instances the salary offered would be pro-rated.
