Job summary

Mountain Warehouse in Bridgnorth is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving store performance. You will lead daily operations, inspire a high-performing team, and uphold the Mountain Warehouse brand through exceptional customer service and community engagement.

You will focus on coaching, visual standards, stock control, and health and safety, while actively recruiting great talent, training staff, and ensuring consistent KPI achievement and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Partner with the Store Manager to lead a motivated, engaged, and high-performing team.

• Communicate clearly and transparently, ensuring alignment and trust across the team.

Operational Excellence

• Maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards to enhance the shopping experience.
• Prioritise health and safety, conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring a secure environment for staff and customers.
• Play an active role in recruiting and retaining top talent to build a strong and motivated team.

Sales & Performance

• Support in meeting and exceeding sales targets, driving profitability through effective strategies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and sustain store success.
• Oversee stock levels, ensuring smooth replenishment and accurate delivery management.
• Implement proactive loss prevention strategies to protect the store’s profitability.

Customer Experience
