Job summary

A leading Regeneration contractor in Nottingham is seeking Freelance Assistant Site Managers to assist in running a Damp and Mold scheme. The role requires a background in social housing and certifications such as SMSTS and CSCS. Successful candidates will oversee project schedules, manage trades, ensure compliance with health and safety, and coordinate teams. The contract is set for 4 months, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Must have SMSTS certification.
  • First Aid at Work qualification is required.
  • CSCS Card is essential.
  • Experience in social housing as a manager or supervisor is needed.
  • Own transport is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the site.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and manage trades.
  • Report progress to senior management.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed.

Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Regeneration contractor who are running a Damp and Mold scheme in Nottingham. The contractor is looking for Freelance Assistant Site Managers to start date on 10/11 and is set to run for 4 months work.

The successful Assistant Site Managers will preferably come from a background within the social housing sector, be based within the Nottingham area or within travelling distance.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Project Manager/Site Manager on the day to day running of site#
  • Liaise with Subcontractors
  • Managing trades and Labour
  • Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed within set deadlines.
  • Reporting progress to senior management.
  • Ensuring work is completed to the agreed high standards.
  • Coordinating teams of workers and subcontractors
  • Maintaining quality control checks
  • Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
  • Ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are being adhered too
Requirements & Experience
