Nottinghamshire – Monday, 10th November to Christmas (temporary role, potential to extend).

Pay: £24.91 per hour (Umbrella PAYE only – No CIS).

Role Overview

Assistant Site Manager – support the Site Manager in overseeing damp and mould remediation works across both void and tenanted properties.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily site operations and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
  • Maintain strict health & safety compliance on site.
  • Liaise with tenants and stakeholders to minimise disruption and maintain clear communication.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain site records.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and ensure timely completion of works.
Qualifications
  • Black CSCS Card (Gold or White cards considered).
  • SMSTS Certification.
  • First Aid at Work.
  • Asbestos Awareness.
  • Proven experience in social housing refurbishment, especially damp and mould remediation.
  • Experience working in both void and occupied properties.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, hands‑on approach focused on satisfaction and safety.
