Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Foreman - Eastbourne (Flat Conversion Project)

Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex

Position: Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Foreman

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (or specify if permanent/fixed-term)

Start Date: Immediate start available

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Foreman to join our team on a flat conversion project in Eastbourne. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of finish and site organisation are maintained throughout the final stages of the build.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing snagging works on completed flats to ensure top-quality finishes.
• Supervising site labourers and subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient working practices.
• Managing stock inventory of materials and site supplies.
• Coordinating with the Site Manager and trades to maintain programme and quality targets.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
• Reporting progress and issues promptly to senior site management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman or Assistant Site Manager in residential or conversion projects.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage small teams and liaise effectively with trades and suppliers.
• CSCS Card required; SSSTS/SMSTS preferred.
• First Aid certification beneficial.
