Assistant Site Manager - Residential Housing

We are working in partnership with a highly regarded national housing developer who is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a residential development in Weymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to progress their career with a well-established and respected housebuilder known for quality, consistency, and strong staff development.

The Role

As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of a residential housing development, ensuring homes are built safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily management of the site
• Ensuring health & safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
• Monitoring quality and workmanship across plots
• Assisting with inspections and NHBC compliance
• Supporting programme delivery and handovers
• Maintaining site records and reports
• Promoting a clean, safe, and well-organised site

About You

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on residential housing projects
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and build processes
• Experience with traditional housing construction (timber frame experience advantageous)
• Able to work effectively with subcontractors and site teams
• Organised, proactive, and keen to develop into a Site Manager role

Qualifications (preferred)

• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work
