Job Title: Assistant Site Manager
Rate of Pay: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities
- Supervise all site-based operatives and oversee all aspects of their work to ensure it is undertaken to a high standard within current codes of practice.
- Carry out safety inductions and toolbox talks for operatives.
- Control the quality of work and ensure method statements and risk assessments are completed.
- Ensure all materials used, including those by sub-contractors, are compliant with technical and quality specifications.
- Keep materials and facilities clean and tidy, maintain the plant, and retain accurate records of all work carried out.
Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations.
- SMSTS Certificate (must obtain/have).
- Substantial experience across the full life cycle of several construction projects, including supervision of the project and staff/operatives.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively.
- Ability to drive projects forward, maintain a high standard of work, and overcome barriers while solving problems efficiently.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
