Willmott Dixon is recruiting a permanent Site Supervisor to join a major healthcare scheme in Plymouth on a 2-year fixed term contract. This role supports delivering projects regionally from your home base and requires coordinating safety, quality, and schedule on site.

You will report to the Senior Site Manager and work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects finish on time, within budget and to high standards. Willmott Dixon offers a generous benefits package and career development.

Formación

• Experience supervising a team of operatives on a construction site.
• Reading and interpreting programmes, drawings and specs.
• CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
• First Aid at Work certification and driving licence.
• Construction software experience and on-site systems knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure delivery of a quality build in accordance with project specifications.
• Understand client priorities and maintain good working relations.
• Monitor works and supply chain to avoid disruption between trades.
• Undertake works economically to minimise waste and costs.
• Maintain high Health, Safety and Environmental standards on site.
• Experience with a variety of construction operations.
• Read and interpret programmes, drawings and technical specs.
• Share build programmes with the team as needed.
• Supervise a team of operatives on a construction site.
• Hold a valid driving licence and appropriate construction background.

Willmott Dixon is currently looking to recruit a permanent Site Supervisor to join a major healthcare scheme in Plymouth on a 2-year fixed term contract.

Our aim is for you to be a part of our team to deliver projects regional to your home. We work across multiple sectors, including education, commercial, leisure, blue-light, healthcare, defence, and residential with project values ranging between £100 – £200 million pounds.

Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, the Site Supervisor will support the delivery of the projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality whilst exceeding customers’ expectations

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of a quality build in accordance with the project specifications and project requirements
• Understand the client priorities and adopt a professional and considerate approach to maintain good working relations
• Monitor the works and supply chain to ensure provision of the right working environment to avoid disruption between trades
• Undertake the works in the most economic manner to eliminate waste and avoid non recoverable costs and preliminaries losses
• Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental management.
• Experience of a variety of construction operations
• Reading and accurately interpret programmes, drawings and technical specifications
• Understanding and appropriately sharing build programmes
• Experience of supervising or managing a team of operatives on a construction site
• Valid driving license
• Construction trade background
• Experience with using construction-related software
• Appropriate CSCS card
• First Aid at Work certificate
• SMSTS certificate
