A talent management consultancy is hiring an Assistant Site Manager for a 3-month contract based in King's Lynn. The role involves supervising site operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading safety standards. Applicants should have over 5 years of supervisory experience in the T&D industry and several industry certifications. The position requires national travel, making it essential that candidates can travel frequently.

Role Summary
To assist the site manager acting as TP137 cover on site when the site manager is not on site and to supervise the works on site including interfacing with and sensibly monitoring any subcontractors whilst feeding back the necessary information to the site manager
Minimum Qualifications

Site based role. Must have the ability to safely manoeuvre around a construction site including uneven and rough terrain on foot for up to 10 hours per day.
For the office element they must have the ability to use repetitive hand motion and the ability to grasp and type using general office equipment. Must be able to sit for long periods of time, talk, hear, walk and stand. Must be able to lift and or move up to 10 pounds.
Requires the ability to collect and analyse information to make decisions. Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems; the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities; the ability to read and apply financial and quantitative analysis; the ability to articulate and speak in front of others; the ability to work under stressful situations, good cognitive skills, ability to maintain accuracy in work, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time. Must have the ability to understand and apply written/verbal instructions and the ability to delegate instructions
Schedule and Work Activities
12 days on 2 days off with travel to client.
Travel
Ability to travel nationally is required for the role. Level of travel may vary over time depending on project and client requirements, but expectation is up to 100% of working time spent travelling per year depending on project location
