Job Description: Assistant Shop Manager
Starting salary £22,932 a year (£12.60 an hour)
Location: Ilkley LS29 9EE

The role: Permanent full-time, 35 hours a week. Scope\'s Ilkley shop – 48 The Grove Promenade, Ilkley LS29 9EE. You may deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Work in a varied retail environment, including stock processing and designing shop displays.
• Recruiting and training volunteers as needed.
• Assist with daily shop operations and cover for the shop manager when required.

About you / Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• Passionate about retail and customer service.
• Dedicated team player with the ability to motivate and lead shop staff and volunteers.
• Strong customer focus and solid IT skills.
• Good attention to detail and a creative eye for shop displays.

Shop hours

Scope Charity Shops are open every day. Some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is required. Full-time hours are 35 per week, five days out of seven. Part-time weekly hours may vary on a seven-day rota. Values: pioneering, courageous, connected, open, fair.
