A care support provider in Wales is looking for an Assistant Service Manager to support individuals with learning disabilities. The role includes management duties and requires a caring nature, flexibility for shifts, and a level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. Role: Assistant Service Manager
Location: Torfaen
Hours: 37 hours per week. Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins.
Salary: £27,224 per annum plus sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and travel expenses paid at 45p per mile.
Contract: Permanent

In this role you’ll work alongside the Service Manager to ensure a safe and caring service for the people we support and our colleagues. You’ll be visible in the day-to-day operation of the service, supporting duties in line with the requirements of the people we support. You’ll work shifts on a rota basis which may include sleep-ins. In the absence of the Service Manager, you’ll have responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service. This includes providing leadership and management to the team, monitoring performance, carrying out one-to-ones and appraisals, and holding team meetings.
