Assistant/Senior Technical Officer - Aseptics

MFT is one of the biggest, most ambitious, and progressive NHS Trusts in the country. We are responsible for running a family of nine hospitals across six separate sites, providing a wide range of services from comprehensive local general hospital care through to highly specialised regional and national services.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual, who is an excellent team player, flexible, self‑motivated, and able to demonstrate professionalism, excellent organisational and communication skills. You must be able to work accurately, quickly and under pressure, have a good eye for detail, be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and be committed to deliver a high standard patient focused service.

Applicants who do not meet essential criteria for Band 3 position should still apply (post can be offered as a development role B2 to B3 progression position).

This role will include 1 in 5 Saturday working as part of a rota. Bank Holiday and on call working as part of a rota. Posts will be based at the Wythenshawe Campus with a future expectation to work cross site.

Main duties of the job

You will:

You will prepare Neonatal, Paediatric & Adult PN, Adult & Paediatric Chemotherapy, CIVAS and Clinical Trials across MFT, working innovatively to provide services to the patients. There may be a requirement in the future to provide cover at any of the sites within Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
