Job description

If you’re passionate about polished service, thrive in fast-paced but friendly surroundings, and fancy working somewhere where honey-coloured stone and historic beams are just part of the daily scenery—this could be your next move.

This role requires candidates to have a valid UK work visa or settled status.

We’re on the lookout for a talented Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of a beautifully presented restaurant in one of the Cotswolds’ most iconic market towns.

It’s a role for someone who lives and breathes hospitality—with warm welcomes, slick service, and a genuine pride in making every guest experience a memorable one.

  • Competitive salary plus tronc
  • 40-45 hour week
  • Free meals on duty
  • Development programmes and progression opportunities
  • Employee assistance program
  • Company pension scheme

The venue is a classic coaching inn with a contemporary edge—think cosy open fires, modern British menus, and a dining room that blends rustic charm with elegant comfort.

Whether guests are stopping by for a casual lunch, weekend escape, or special celebration, the vibe is relaxed, refined and unmistakably Cotswolds.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:

  • Report directly to the Restaurant Manager and run the restaurant in their absence
  • Have a friendly, yet professional persona
  • Have experience of working within an establishment that focuses on fresh food
  • Be a strong team player and be able to lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through your team
  • Have a passion for food, have lots of flair and be able to deal with day to day issues, regarding front of house and back of house operations
  • Have a passion to help drive the business forward from the forefront

Whether you’re stepping up from a supervisor role or already working at assistant manager level and craving a setting with a little more soul, this is a brilliant opportunity to grow your career in a standout Cotswolds spot.

Apply now and bring your sparkle to a place that blends history, hospitality and heart.
