Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Super Prime Residential | Central London

Our client is a highly respected, financially robust main contractor specialising in the delivery of super prime residential developments across Central London. With an excellent industry reputation, a secure pipeline of projects, and a collaborative company culture, they provide the ideal environment for junior professionals to learn, grow, and build a long-term career.

Project Profile:

• High-end new builds and luxury refurbishments in prime locations such as Chelsea, Knightsbridge, and Belgravia
• Contract values ranging up to £20m, with initial exposure to projects in the £5m–£10m range
• Uncompromising standards of craftsmanship and quality

The Role:

Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team across several high-value residential projects. You will work closely with experienced Senior QSs and Commercial Managers, gaining exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with cost planning, tendering, and procurement processes
• Supporting valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Attending site meetings and liaising with the site and design teams
• Helping manage subcontractor accounts and payments
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and assisting with contract administration

About You:

• 1–3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within prime residential construction
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (not essential)
• Strong numerical and organisational skills, with a proactive attitude
• Keen to learn and develop under the mentorship of experienced professionals
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
