Overview

Assistant Quantity Surveyor — Nottingham. Full time, permanent. £40K plus bonus.

We are working with a leading contractor to find a skilled and experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Nottingham. This role is focused on decarbonisation projects within occupied social housing properties in the Nottingham area and surrounding areas; a full UK driving licence is required.

You will work within the commercial team delivering all aspects of the commercial, financial and contractual elements of designated projects. There is also an opportunity to act as Commercial Lead on some smaller projects. You will be responsible for general commercial administration and support for the wider commercial team. Strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience of commercial activity on refurbishment projects.

  • Experience with managing subcontractors and subcontractor payments.
  • Thorough and meticulous with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain a flexible attitude to work tasks and workload.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
