Job summary

GRAHAM is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for its Interior Fit-Out Division in London. The role supports the commercial team on fit-out projects, working with QSs, PMs and site teams.

The successful candidate will help prepare budgets, valuations and final accounts, and will be involved in subcontract procurement, variations and cost forecasting, with attendance at meetings and knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Numerical ability and strong attention to detail are essential.
• Experience with MS Office and financial reporting is expected.
• A quantity surveying or related degree is required.

What the role covers

GRAHAM is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for its Interior Fit-Out Division in London. This permanent role supports the commercial team throughout fit-out projects, working with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and site teams. The assistant will help prepare project budgets, valuations, payment applications and final accounts.

The role supports reviews of subcontractor performance and accounts and involves monitoring progress with project teams. Attendance at client, subcontractor and project meetings will be required, alongside developing knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts. Applicants need previous experience in a trainee, graduate, assistant surveying or similar construction-commercial position, together with a quantity-surveying or related degree.

Numerical ability, attention to detail and Microsoft Office proficiency are required. Fit-out or refurbishment experience, knowledge of commercial reporting and progress towards professional accreditation are desirable.
