MJ Quinn is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in the Energy and Critical Infrastructure Division. You will assist in the financial and commercial management of projects, reporting to the Commercial Director and supporting senior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Placement or internship in construction desirable.
• Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of NEC contracts is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control and value management on projects.
• Support monthly CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement and payment applications.
• Help manage variations, compensation events and commercial documentation.
• Support budget monitoring, WIP analysis and cash flow reporting.
• Maintain accurate project records and commercial administration.
• Liaise with operational teams and supply chain partners.
