Job summary

Reds10 is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor at our Central London office to drive cost planning, forecasting and procurement on high-profile projects within education, defence, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors.

You will support commercial ownership, manage risks and opportunities, and help ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to exceptional quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience in a quantity surveying role within construction.
  • Knowledge of project cost forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Membership of, or working towards membership of a professional body (desirable)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality reports that drive decisions

Responsibilities

  • Assist in project commercial activities including cost planning, forecasting, procurement, and change management.
  • Maintain and report on project-wide commercial risk/opportunity registers and ensure risk/opportunity registers are in place and pro-actively managed.
  • Support senior management in overseeing project costs, commercial and supply chain activities, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and cost, commercial and supply chain.
  • Support the Commercial Lead with the negotiation of sector commercial agreements and contracts with clients and suppliers

Supporting with the commercial ownership of a project, you’ll support with cost control, managing risks and opportunities to ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
