Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join an established commercial team. This role offers the opportunity to work on distinctive high end residential new build, supporting the delivery of schemes that demand precision, creativity, and a deep appreciation for quality building.

You will work closely with senior members of the commercial team, assisting with all aspects of cost management and project administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support in the preparation of cost estimates, tender documentation, and bills of quantities
  • Assist in managing project budgets, valuations, and cost reporting
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to maintain accurate financial records
  • Contribute to procurement processes and contract administration
  • Undertake site visits to monitor progress and assess variations
About You
  • Experience working in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role within the construction industry (new build residential experience advantageous)
  • HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline also advantageous
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A collaborative team player with initiative and drive
