Fawkes & Reece South are working with a main contractor that works in collaboration with a private client on various infrastructure projects in the Southwest. Scope of works includes earthworks, drainage, otter rehabilitation, culverts and rivers etc.

They are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to report to a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a small commercial team. Your role will be to assist on commercial duties in line with a NEC contract that include:

Responsibilities

• Accurate monthly forecasting
• Producing and sending enquiries with relevant documentation to subcontractors
• Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
• Managing any change and producing compensation events
• Produce, submit, and agree monthly application with the client
• Attending weekly progress meetings

Requirements

• Civil Engineering Degree-qualified or equivalent
• Experience working as a Managing Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure projects
• Experience working as a Managing Quantity Surveyor on NEC based project
• Member of RICS
• Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
