Job description

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with your line manager to assist in the commercial administration, reporting and performance on a single large project We are looking for a Candidate that is looking to gain experience, develop their career and become a key part of the Site Team and Business Unit Commercial Team.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
  • Use the latest software tools to assist in the cost and value reporting to the business unit.
  • Be involved in the procurement of Subcontract packages including preparation of bid enquiry documentation and critical evaluation of bids.
  • Produce Subcontract documentation for approval for packages procured.
  • Administration of allocated subcontract works packages including, interim assessments of the amount due and change management.
  • Assist in the production and issue of commercial notices to Subcontractors.
  • Assist in the management of change in accordance with the form of contract
  • Provide information to the Commercial team to assist in the production of monthly payment applications to the Client.
  • Liaise with operational and engineering staff
