Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + package

Developer / Contractor – Residential & Mixed‑Use Projects

The Role

You will work closely with Senior QSs and Commercial Managers across a range of pre‑construction and live projects, gaining hands‑on experience across the full commercial lifecycle. The company has a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming developments, giving you exposure to residential, mixed‑use and regeneration schemes throughout the North West.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with cost management, measurements, and valuations
  • Supporting subcontract procurement and commercial administration
  • Preparing cost reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Working with the site and design teams to monitor project progress
  • Assisting senior commercial staff with pre‑construction documentation and tender activity
  • Ensuring accurate record‑keeping and commercial compliance
Requirements
  • Experience as a Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor (contractor or developer background)
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and commercial principles
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Keen to learn, progress, and take on greater responsibility
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or working toward it (preferred)
