Job summary

A UK wide Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for their Surrey office. You will work on various projects, provide pre and post contract tasks, and take ownership of smaller schemes. The ideal candidate will have a Quantity Surveying degree and approximately 2 years of experience. Competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000, along with benefits including flexible working, medical insurance, and APC support.

Qualifications

Overview

A UK wide Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking a smart Assistant Quantity Surveyor to be based in their Surrey office which has secured multiple, multi-million pound projects.

Responsibilities

• Reporting into an Associate, work across an array of projects from large scale (£100m+) industrial units, fast-paced healthcare refurbishments, student accommodation, and hotel refurbishments.
• Provide pre and post contract tasks, whilst working towards taking ownership of smaller schemes with Associate oversight.

Qualifications

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree
• Circa 2 years Quantity Surveying experience
• Basic pre and post contract knowledge
• Surrey based – driving licence and car
• PQS / Consultancy background preferred
