Overview

Recruiting for an established Tier 1 construction business on a new Prison scheme near Newton Abbot. Responsibilities

• Work with estimating and bid teams to firm up prices and costs for each package based on the initial bids.
• Compile a working scope of works and bill of quantities for each package.
• Work with the supply chain to establish how each phase will be delivered, place orders, arrange pre‑start meetings.
• Manage the scheme in conjunction with the delivery team and carry out the standard QS role of valuations, payments, remeasures, managing variation accounts, CVRs and weekly, monthly reporting and forecasting through to final account.
• All under the supervision of a Senior QS who will help with training and development.
