A growing cost management construction consultancy is looking to add a driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their Surrey office near Cobham.

The role of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be joining a medium sized cost management construction consultancy who complete projects in and around London. The company covers a range of projects including Commercial, Industrial, Education, Healthcare, Hotels, Residential and Retail. The Assistant will work on projects ranging from £2m - £20m, gaining varied experience for their APC diary. Initially the role focuses on High-End Retail projects in Central London. Eventually the candidate will run projects from inception to completion with support from an MRICS qualified Partner. The company offers strong APC support with internal training and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

Assist on a wide range of construction projects across different sectors and scales. Support project teams with cost planning, quotation preparation, cost reporting and contract administration. Help manage project budgets to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy. Provide input in cost estimates and risk assessments for new proposals. Assist in preparing and producing commercial documentation and cost records.
