A growing cost management consultancy is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Surrey. This role involves assisting with high-end retail projects, supporting projects valued up to £20m, and benefiting from strong APC support. A growing cost management construction consultancy is looking to add a driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their team in the Surrey office near Cobham.

Role Overview

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be part of a medium‑sized cost management consultancy that completes projects across London. They cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Education, Healthcare, Hotels, Residential and Retail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high-end retail projects, including work for some big designer brands, based in Central London.
• Support a range of projects valued between £2m and £20m, gaining varied experience to build an APC diary.
• Run projects from inception to completion under the guidance of an MRICS qualified partner.
• Collaborate with the internal APC team to plan training and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree.
• Minimum of 1 year experience.
• Experience within a PQS or consultancy.
• Basic pre‑ and post‑contract knowledge.
