£35,000 - £45,000 + pension + performance bonus

Role Overview

The position offers exposure to all stages of cost management and project delivery within a structured, professional environment. Working alongside experienced surveyors, you will support cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and post-contract duties across a range of projects. The role provides direct mentorship and full APC support toward RICS chartership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and elemental cost plans
  • Support tender preparation, analysis, and reporting
  • Contribute to contract administration, interim valuations, and final accounts
  • Attend client and site meetings under supervision
  • Maintain project documentation and assist with cost reporting
  • Work proactively towards APC submission and RICS qualification
Essential Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • Experience working in a PQS environment
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Motivated, detail-focused, and committed to professional growth
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements
  • Prior internship or work experience in a consultancy or construction setting
  • Familiarity with CostX, Bluebeam, or MS Excel

  • Clear ambition to achieve chartered status with RICS or CIOB
