Job summary

A top-tier main contractor is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a £60m cut-and-carve project in Central London. You will be responsible for procurement, cost management, and reporting while attending site meetings. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in commercial builds and exposure to package management, with opportunities for progression within the company. Competitive salary of £35,000 – £50,000 plus a package is offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience within commercial build or refurbishment projects is preferred.
  • Exposure to procurement and package management required.
  • Understanding of cut-and-carve or structural alteration projects is a plus.

  • Procurement of subcontract packages.

  • Managing variations and change.

About the Company

A top-tier main contractor is urgently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a £60m cut-and-carve commercial scheme in Central London. The client is open to candidates who can support the lead QS as well as those ready to take on more responsibility as they progress.
