The client, a leading civil engineering and building contractor operating across Scotland, is looking to appoint a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor. This strategic role offers a hands‑on opportunity to oversee the commercial success of varied and complex projects, delivering work that shapes communities across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the financial management and reporting on major civil and commercial contracts
  • Prepare and assess bills of quantities, valuations, and subcontract agreements
  • Monitor and manage cost control procedures, ensuring profitability targets are met
  • Provide commercial support and guidance to operational teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Negotiate contracts and liaise confidently with clients, subcontractors, and consultants

  • Demonstrable experience within a civil engineering or main contracting environment
