I’m currently working with a leading specialist subcontractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-quality packages across some of the UK’s most iconic construction projects. They’re looking to bring a Assistant Quantity Surveyor on board to support their commercial team across multiple live sites.

Ideally, you’ll have experience within drywall or facades, but they’re open to candidates from any subcontracting background – interiors, cladding, M&E, steelwork etc. What matters most is your commercial acumen and ability to manage packages from procurement through to final account.

What they’re looking for

• An Assistant Quantity Surveyor with experience working for a subcontractor (drywall / facades a bonus, not essential)
• Have an understanding of contract management, valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Some knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
• Someone confident liaising with main contractors and site teams alike
