They are seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Bristol-based team.

This role will support the commercial delivery of retail projects from tender through to completion, working closely with senior commercial leads to gain hands-on experience across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in preparing cost plans, valuations, and financial reports.
• Supporting subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, and contract administration.
• Monitoring project costs, variations, and budgets to ensure profitability.
• Liaising with site teams, clients, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships.
• Helping to ensure compliance with commercial and contractual procedures.

The Person

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, high-performing business.

• Some experience in a commercial role (placement or post-graduate) within construction or fit-out.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
