Job description

The Assistant Quality Engineer supports the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities within the Joint Design Office (JDO). This entry‑level role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in quality practices and a keen interest in developing their skills in a regulated engineering environment. The role contributes to maintaining compliance with internal standards and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the JDO.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining quality documentation and records.
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of internal audits.
  • Help track non‑conformances and improvement actions.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for quality tools and dashboards.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with HPC IMS, ISO 9001, GSR‑3, and other relevant standards.
  • Respond to basic quality‑related queries and escalation as needed.
Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of quality principles and documentation.
  • Some experience supporting or participating in audits.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a regulated environment.
