Assistant QS – Civil Engineering / Construction

A civil engineering / ground engineering contractor that specialises in piling & groundworks packages on multi million projects across the London /SE is currently looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

Working as part of the surveying team in charge of the commercial management sector of the ongoing projects.

Successful candidates main Duties and Responsibilities will consist of:

• Reporting to, and assisting the commercial manager.
• Preparing estimates, bills of quantities, schedule of rates and cost plans.
• Analysing and collating timesheets and daily record sheets.
• Preparing monthly applications and cost versus value reports.
• Estimating time, labour and material costs by using feasibility studies.
• Analysing production performance.
• Maintaining and reviewing jobs to check efficiency and consistency.

Salary: £30 - £38k + pkg
