Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust in Radlett, England, is seeking an Assistant Psychologist (Band 4) to support our referral and assessment processes. You will assist with presentations to teams to explain our work, refer service users to us when appropriate, and contribute to screening and data tracking.

You will manage referral administration, liaise with court personnel and probation staff, and help assess whether service users may benefit from our service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with presentations to teams to explain our work, why they would refer a service user to us, and how to complete a referral
• Manage the admin of referrals, including passing them on for screening to the Clinical Lead, completing screening assessments, liaising with court-related personnel and probation staff, and tracking the data associated with referrals
• Assess if service users are likely to benefit from our service and support them in completing risk assessments
• Complete 12-week programmes of one-to-one interventions based on the specific needs and goals of each service user
• Support and facilitate our Emotional Coping Skills Group
• Audit our data and prepare for service evaluations
