A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join their Older Adult Mental Health wards. This role offers the opportunity to develop clinical skills, implement group interventions, and receive supervision from Registered Psychologists. Ideal for individuals interested in pursuing Doctoral training in Clinical Psychology. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Assistant Psychologist to join our Older Adult Mental Health wards at St Georges Hospital, Stafford.
The role is varied and provides opportunity to build upon clinical skills, develop and implement group interventions, utilise service evaluation and research skills and develop multidisciplinary team working skills; therefore good time keeping skills and being able to manage multiple, competing demands are essential to the role.
This opportunity would provide an ideal basis for individuals wishing to pursue Doctoral training in Clinical Psychology. Further training and CPD opportunities are accessible within this role.
You will be well supported with supervision from the Registered Psychologists in the team and there will be opportunity for networking with other Assistant Psychologists, Trainee Clinical Psychologists and other mental health professionals.
