Job summary

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust is advertising for an Assistant Psychologist to support the ARMS service. The role is full-time with a 24-month fixed-term contract, based in Northumberland/North Tyneside Localities, Benton View/Greenacre Centre.

You will evaluate the service, collect data, interview service users, and assist with assessment and limited clinical work under supervision. Training and DBS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Upper 2nd class honours degree in psychology
• Eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society
• Postgraduate training in psychology, mental health practice and/or research design and analysis

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the impact of the ARMS service through data collection and interviews
• Support the evaluation process and monitor service users' wellbeing
• Assist in assessment and feedback under supervision of a Principal Clinical Psychologist
• Contribute to potential group work and clinical tasks under supervision
