Job summary

The Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Band 4 Assistant Psychologist to join Solar TEDS (The Eating Disorder Service) at Freshfields Clinic in Knowle. You will support psychological assessments, offer low level interventions, assist with outcome measures, contribute to groups, and work closely with clinical psychologists and the MDT.

Motivated psychology graduates with good communication and organisational skills, and an interest in eating disorders

Qualifications

• Motivated, reflective psychology graduate with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience working with children or vulnerable groups.
• Interest in mental health, eating disorders and neurodevelopmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with psychological assessments and support formulation-informed interventions.
• Contribute to group work and help collect and record outcome measures.
• Support service development activities and audit processes, under supervision.
• Input and maintain clinical materials and contribute to MDT collaboration.
