A children's healthcare provider in Sefton is looking for a post holder to support and enhance the psychological care of children and young people within an eating disorder team. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, assisting in care plans, and coordinating therapeutic groups. The candidate will work closely with other professionals to provide evidence-based interventions and support for inpatients and outpatients. This position requires a professional demeanor, especially in high-emotion situations.
The post holder will support and enhance the professional psychological care of children, young people and families within a specialised eating disorder team under the direction and supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist.
This post is attached to the Eating Disorders team at Alder Hey. You will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team providing support to children and young people who are in need of intervention/support. The post holder will support children and young people who are inpatients on ward 4C and outpatients as part of their home treatment support. Providing evidence‑based interventions depending on needs of the individual working collaboratively with other professionals across Liverpool and Sefton CAMHs and the Emergency department at Alder Hey hospital as well as other services as required as part of the care plan for CYP.
