Job summary

St Andrew's Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Psychologist for the Outpatients Service in Oxford. The role is embedded in probation offices under supervision by qualified psychologists, supporting psychological care for clients in the Criminal Justice System across Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in psychology (or equivalent) and be eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society, with travel to probation sites as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Relevant Master’s degree in psychology or an upper second class honours degree plus relevant work experience.
• Eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessment and psychological interventions under supervision.
• Work within the Criminal Justice System in Oxfordshire.
• Collaborate with National Probation Service and local authorities to support continuity of care.
