Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Community Mental Health Team is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to support psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for adults in the community, under supervision of a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.

You will contribute to direct clinical work, group sessions, outcome measures and audits, while developing research, service development and evidence-based practice within a supportive multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a psychology graduate with interest in clinical development.
• Experience or interest in delivering psychological interventions under supervision.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.

Responsabilités

• Assist qualified psychologists with assessments and risk information.
• Support formulation, reviews and intervention planning.
• Deliver protocol-driven and low-intensity interventions and psychoeducation.
• Co-facilitate group sessions and workshops.
• Support data collection, audits and service improvement projects.
• Prepare reports and maintain clinical records.
