A leading NHS Trust in the UK is looking for a full-time Assistant Psychologist to join the Berkshire Eating Disorder Service Adult team. The role requires at least one year of mental health experience and involves providing clinical interventions, supporting the Day Programme, and participating in quality improvement. Candidates will be expected to possess a psychology degree and demonstrate excellent communication skills. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Berkshire Eating Disorder Service Adult team as a full time Assistant Psychologist. We are recruiting a full time assistant psychologist. We are looking for people who have minimum one year's experience working in mental health and experience running groups. The role will be varied and include a balance of clinical activities, service evaluation and project work. The post offers the valuable opportunity to learn from a highly skilled team of Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Dieticians and Mental Health Practitioners. The role is to join our Day Programme team with the role based at St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of working with people with mental health difficulties. You will be a team-player, thrive in a varied role, use initiative, and demonstrate self-reflection. Excellent communication, time-management and organisation skills are essential. Innovation and service improvement will excite you. Above all, you will show warmth, sensitivity and compassion in your care of our patients.
