Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust in Scunthorpe is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist (NHS Band 4) to provide support within Complex Emotional Needs and Primary Care Network teams. The role involves delivering group and individual therapeutic interventions under supervision, and contributing to care planning.
You will work 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri) with flexible working, supporting service users and collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues.

Assist multidisciplinary colleagues in delivering individual and group therapeutic interventions.
Support the formulation and delivery of care plans addressing service users’ psychological needs.
Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary and other relevant clinical meetings.
Communicate sensitively and professionally with service users, families , carers, professionals and partner agencies .
Receive regular clinical supervision in line with professional practice guidance.
Comply with relevant HCPC, BPS and DCP standards, codes and professional guidance.
Maintain high professional standards through agreed internal and external continuing professional development.
Develop the skills and competencies required for the role.
Contribute to the training and support of staff providing psychological care.
Support the design and implementation of service - development projects and contribute to associated planning meetings.
Participate in Primary Care Integrated Mental Health Hub business and professional meetings , and Psychological Professions meetings.
Support audit, research and service-evaluation projects, including data collection, analysis and report writing using appropriate IT and statistical tools.
Review evidence-based literature to support qualified clinical psychologists and the wider team in evidence - based practice.
