You will be working with people neurological conditions who may have acquired brain or spinal cord injuries, alongside addressing conditions like depression, self harm, physical health concerns, and psychological distress including trauma. As an Assistant Psychologist you will have the opportunity to assist with assessments, formulations, and treatment to our service users, under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist. You will also assist in clinically related administration including conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching, and project work. At The Dean Neurological, therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise functional ability. It specialises in slow stream rehabilitation where the emphasis is placed on maximising each individual's abilities, comfort and quality of life. Bedrooms are fitted with high dependency equipment, including ceiling track hoists, wall mounted suction and oxygen equipment., with all rooms adapted to individual requirements. There are also well-equipped therapy facilities and other facilities such as gardens, gym and minibus.
