A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a hardworking individual for a Clinical Neuropsychologist Assistant role at the Rakehead Rehabilitation Centre. The position involves supporting the neuropsychology service by assisting qualified professionals, conducting assessments, and managing treatment programmes. Ideal candidates are motivated, possess knowledge of the rehabilitation process, and have experience in healthcare settings. A driving licence is essential due to community work. Join a dedicated team passionate about patient care and rehabilitation.
Rakehead Rehabilitation Centre is a 17 bedded unit providing specialist neurorehabilitation for people with complex needs following a neurological event / diagnosis e.g. Acquired Brain Injury or spinal injury. The service also includes Rakehead Community Neurorehabilitation Team (RCNT), which provides a service to patients across East Lancashire. The post is split across both the inpatient and community teams. We are looking for a team player to help us build on our achievements and to ensure that we respond to the challenges of people with complex rehabilitation needs. Our patients present with a combination of physical, psychological and cognitive impairments requiring the support of a dedicated MDT committed to supporting them to achieve their optimum level of independence. Whilst experience in this area is desirable, we are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about working in this specialist area.
As a member of the Rakehead team, you will receive an intensive induction programme followed by ongoing support and training to meet your needs. Finally, you will be working with a warm and friendly team who are passionate about working in this very specialised area.
