Job summary

Pinnacle Group are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our Homes Team, supporting housing management services across affordable properties in the South East. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel and a full UK driving licence is essential.

You will work with Property Managers, residents and contractors to deliver excellent service, maintain records and support day-to-day operations across portfolios.

Qualifications

  • Experience in housing, residential lettings, property management or customer service.
  • Strong communication, organisational and IT skills (Word/Excel).
  • Knowledge of affordable housing or the wider property sector is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent diary management and administrative skills; aim to progress toward ARLA/CIH.

Responsibilities

  • Support Property Managers with day-to-day management of affordable housing portfolios in the South East.
  • Assist in managing client portals and respond to queries professionally.
  • Keep customer records and client systems up-to-date.
  • Assist with void properties, viewings, sign-ups and move-ins.
  • Welcome residents and provide tenancy information.
  • Support residents throughout the tenancy journey with high-quality service.
  • Assist with estate inspections, repairs reporting and admin tasks.
  • Produce reports, correspondence and administrative documents.

Pinnacle Group are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our Homes Team and support the delivery of housing management services across a portfolio of affordable housing properties throughout the South East region.

This is a customer-focused role that will support multiple Property Managers in ensuring residents receive an excellent service, properties are well maintained, and clients' requirements are consistently met. Working closely with residents, Property Managers, clients and contractors, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day housing management activities while helping to create thriving communities and a positive customer experience.

Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities.

The ideal candidate will have some experience within housing, residential lettings, customer service or the wider property sector and be looking to develop their career within housing management. They will be an organised and proactive individual with strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be confident working independently and as part of a wider team, with strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering high standards across their portfolio.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. This is a predominantly remote, home-based role, with occasional travel required across the South East region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Property Managers with the day-to-day management of affordable housing portfolios across the South East.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining client customer portals, ensuring housing management queries are responded to promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure customer records and client systems are kept fully updated and accurate at all times.
  • Support the management of void properties, including assisting with viewings, sign-ups and move-ins.
  • Assist with welcoming residents into their new homes and ensuring they receive all relevant tenancy information.
  • Support residents throughout the tenancy journey, responding to queries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with estate inspections, repairs reporting and general housing management administration.
  • Produce reports, correspondence and administrative documentation as required.
  • Work closely with Property Managers, residents, contractors and clients to ensure service standards are maintained.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to support the effective delivery of the housing management service.
Key Requirements
  • Experience within housing, residential lettings, property management, customer service or an administrative role within a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong communication, organisational and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing, residential lettings or the wider property sector would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work proactively under your own initiative as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent diary management and administrative skills, with a willingness to work towards a professional qualification such as ARLA or CIH.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
  • Comfortable working remotely while travelling to sites when required.
