Advance TRS are partnering with a growing engineering consultancy to recruit an Assistant Project Manager for its Manchester team, supporting multidisciplinary water design projects and coordinating design teams with suppliers. The role offers a clear progression towards Project Manager level and structured training.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in engineering design, design coordination/management or design-focused project management.
• Degree or HND in Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Interest in developing a career in Project Management.
• Water sector and NEC experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting multidisciplinary water design projects
• Coordinating design teams and supply chain partners
• Maintaining project programmes and monitoring progress
• Supporting cost tracking, variations and change management
• Assisting with NEC and other contract requirements
• Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
• Reporting on project progress and performance
• Supporting tenders and technical proposals
