Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Preconstruction) in South London. You will support the development and delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital projects within a large-scale housing environment.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll gain exposure to procurement, stakeholder engagement, contract administration, budgeting, and programme reporting. APM/PRINCE2 foundations are preferred, with opportunities to grow your PM career.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• PM qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent, or be working towards one.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of preconstruction and construction projects from inception through to completion.
• Coordinate project information, documentation, reports, and programme data.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenditure, risks, and change control processes.
• Support procurement activities, tender evaluations, and contract administration.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and governance documentation for senior stakeholders.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Organise and support project meetings, maintaining accurate records and actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through research and innovative solutions.
