Overview

This opportunity will support the delivery of the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme, a once-in-a-generation investment that will replace existing hospital infrastructure with a state-of-the-art smart digital hospital.

You will work as part of a dynamic team, supporting the Head of Medical Technology, project managers, and technical advisors in developing equipment schedules, procurement plans, and commissioning strategies. You will act as a bridge between clinical teams, suppliers, estates, and digital colleagues to ensure medical technology and FF&E are delivered safely on time, and within budget, ensuring its success in line with NHS standards and the New Hospital Programme.

Responsibilities
  • Support the strategic and operational delivery of the medical technology and FF&E elements of the HHRP, ensuring best practice, standards, tools, and techniques are in place.
  • Assist in project planning, programme development, and risk management to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, key stakeholders, and external contractors to maintain governance, compliance, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Play a key role in the procurement and contract management of specialist services.
  • Work within NHS sustainability and Net Zero targets to support the creation of a future-proof healthcare facility.
